Head of Marketing at Social Traders (Australia)
Mark works as Head of Marketing at Social Traders and manages Social Traders’ brand, marketing and communications, as well as a portfolio of national advocacy and leadership activities that include the Social Enterprise Awards and the Social Enterprise Conference. Through his work at Social Traders, Mark also oversees the Good Spender platform – a joint initiative with Australia Post to provide a dedicated marketplace which enables social enterprises to sell directly to consumers. Passionate about linking cause to audiences and stakeholders, Mark believes there is enormous potential for experienced marketing professionals to play a constructive role in generating increased social impact by raising visibility, awareness, profile and understanding.
Mark has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing / Management) from Monash University and a Masters in Communication from RMIT and was the winner of the UK-based Association of International Broadcasters ‘Best International Marketing Strategy’ award in 2009. Mark has international marketing, communications and media experience having worked for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s international division and for the Commonwealth Business Council in the UK.
