Founder of Wildness (New Zealand)
Born in France, grew up in the Alps and studied for 5 years French cooking with a speciality as a chocolatier. Worked overseas for The Ritz and Intercontinental since the age of 20, travelled extensively and moved to NZ 16 years ago. Set up her first business in 2010, La Patisserie in Wellington then sold it and moved to Brazil to live on a cocoa plantation.
Came back to NZ and set up Wildness in 2016 as a social enterprise. Wildness is manufacturing its chocolates in Wellington and packing them up at the Rimutaka Prison. Marie has a family of three children and husband and currently lives in the Wildness capital of the world,Wellington!
