Taste New Zealand:
Send your tastebuds on a road trip around New Zealand, with a wide variety of delicious foods, wine and beer sourced from our finest artisan producers in our best culinary regions across the country.
‘Shindig’ is a Kiwi term for a lively party when there’s cause for celebration. The iconic Foundry venue next to the Avon river in Christchurch will be transformed to mimic a great Kiwi Bach (or holiday-home), featuring all the luxuries and comforts of a classic Kiwi holiday. Relax, unwind and socialise along with our organisational team, the Ākina board, the SEWF international board & committee, speakers, and partners of the event.
Make yourself at home, grab yourself a drink and enjoy smooth live rhythms from a local band, warming up to more upbeat grooves and dancing later in the evening. Reflect on the incredible few days we’ve shared as part of this year’s Forum, and hear heartfelt reflections from the team. Prepare to be wowed by pop-up performances, and roaming artists.
Getting there and getting home:
Bus transport will be provided for the short 15 min ride direct from the Closing Ceremony at the Isaac Theatre Royal, to the Shindig location: The Foundry, University of Canterbury. Bus shuttles will return guests to the city at the end of the event.
Limited tickets available. Purchase yours as an add-on when you register for SEWF 2017.
